The Gijón Photographic Meetings are a meeting point for the world of photography.

Since 2004, the Gijón Photographic Meetings have tried to create a place for the dissemination and exchange between culture and photography. As part of this new edition, part of a program is presented that includes conferences, tributes and presentations of books and magazines.

• PROGRAM

5:00 p.m. – Conference Alejandra González and Paula Anta: explanation of their work

6:00 p.m.- Railowsky: screening of the documentary “Railowsky: The Untold Story.”

7:00 p.m.- Tribute to the photographic career of Juan Manuel Díaz Burgos and Juan Manuel Castro Prieto.

7:00 p.m.- Presentation of Gandaya magazine by Iris G. Merás.

20:00 h.- Presentation of the book by Carlos de Paz and inauguration of the exhibition “Plastic Ocean” by Carlos de Paz.
