The plot lines of the conference will revolve around the craft of creating in new times, the role of the artistic curator, the situation of the market and its intermediaries and the formulation of new proposals and paths throughout the process of artistic activity.
part of artIt will open with the conference Transiting through art territory, by Karin Ohlenschläger, recently appointed Director of Activities at LABoral Center for Art and Industrial Creation. The speaker will be presented by the director of the Museum of Fine Arts of Asturias, Alfonso Palacio.
Until the last event of the conference, which will consist of a round table in which all galleries in Asturias have been invited to participate, nearly thirty professionals will participate in Part of Art who, in one field or another, dedicate their work to disciplines related to art, and who will diagnose their current state in debates that will cover everything from artistic creation itself to collecting and art commerce, including the relationships between the curator and artists, museum gallery owners, critics and the public, or more specific questions, such as the need for Fine Arts studies in Asturias.
