Open doors and free guided tours

On the occasion of the International Day against Gender Violence, LABoral offers free access and guided tours of the exhibitions from Wednesday, November 27 to Saturday, November 30, 2019

LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial de Gijón joins the demands of November 25 on the occasion of the International Day against Gender Violence by establishing a period of open doors, free entry, from Wednesday the 27th to Saturday the 30th of November at the time regular at the Center.

During this week you can visit the exhibitionWrong is not my name, curated by Semíramis González, and which presents a tour of different works by national and international artists, who have worked to denounce the multiple manifestations of violence against women from an audio-visual language, or performative installations. The different works propose a reflection on artistic creation and feminist activism.


Artists: Pilar Albarracín, Yolanda Domínguez, Sandra Paula Fernández, Ana Gallardo, Sukra Moral, Esther Pizarro, Mastha Rosler, Amalia Ulman.


Open doors also include visits to exhibitionsD3US EX M4CH1NA. Art and artificial intelligence, and Skeens, a reflection on the importance of the digital footprint.


The open house period includes the possibility of taking free guided tours at 12:30 or 4:30 p.m. No prior reservation is necessary.


Center Hours:

– From Wednesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

– Saturday: from 12 to 7 p.m.
