Memories, words and processes

Colectivo BERDE

27 November 2025

BERDE celebrates its history with the presentation of Memorias de un Pepín, a collection of experimental poems by author José Luis López, illustrated by the group of creators from the BERDE Laboratory programme. A collective work, whose protagonists are people with functional diversity, which puts the shared spirit of the project into words and images.

Accompanying this presentation, we will open a space for those who have collaborated with BERDE over the last four years to share their thoughts. A choral tribute where each person’s voice shapes the living memory of BERDE.

BERDE began as an art and social transformation project in Asturias, aimed at people with functional and psychosocial diversity.

This collective is part of LABoral’s Citizen Laboratories, a residency aimed at groups and communities in Gijón/Xixón linked to mental health, intellectual diversity and human rights. LABoral offers them a workspace, technical resources and support for their activities, as well as an inspiring environment and creative synergies within the Centre’s ecosystem.
