Habitácolas

Presentation of results, with the BERDE Collective

13 March 2026

On 13 March at 1 p.m., LABoral Centro de Arte will present the results of the Habitácolas workshop, carried out by the BERDE Collective at LABoral and directed by curator and researcher Graciela García and artist, curator and researcher Aurelien Lortet.

‘Habitácolas’ is a project that explores the idea of living space from a poetic and contemporary perspective. During the session held at LABoral, the creators of the BERDE collective areinvited to become demiurges who play at inventing worlds, exploring assembly as a tool for creating possible landscapes in 3D. Inspiration is drawn from nests, nomadic architectures and organic shelters, working with recycled materials collected to intertwine art, ecology and a sensitive reflection on how we inhabit.

On 13 March, the results of this creative process will be presented to the public in an open presentation.

About LABoratorio BERDE

LABoratorio BERDE is a stable artistic experience programme aimed at adults with functional diversity who are interested in exploring different languages of contemporary creation, such as drawing, painting, photography, film, comics and creative writing.

As part of LABoral’s citizen laboratories, the programme welcomes 17 artists who, together with a team of facilitators, share creative processes in a collective, participatory and constantly changing environment. It is organised into nine-month academic periods and includes monthly visits from guest artists, who broaden and enrich the group’s experiences.

The aim of the project is to promote the inclusion of adults with functional diversity in contemporary creative processes, incorporating other ways of approaching reality and ensuring their active participation in cultural life, not only as an audience, but also as creative agents.

Within this framework, on 13 March at 1 p.m., LABoral Centro de Arte will host a presentation of the results obtained in a workshop conducted by BERDE on
