Everyone talks about Artificial Intelligence, but … Is it happening? – Lecture

22 November 2019

The principles that define it and the mosaic of methodologies applied are not new. What has changed in recent years so that work around Artificial Intelligence has intensified? What new fuel has appeared to launch the latest revolution we are experiencing?

And this great potential leads us to a debate about the responsible application of Artificial Intelligence. All transformative technology entails ethical dilemmas as to how to regulate its use and access. What kind of dilemmas do we face? Will we be able to solve them? How did we do so on other occasions, in previous revolutions?

With the aim of rigorously clarifying some complex questions and sharing the state of maturity of this field, the aim is to give clear and understandable answers to all these questions. Attendees will be invited to take part in the discussion by sharing their vision and adding their own questions.
