Rafael Yuste, Neurobiologist, promoter of the Brain Project and professor at Columbia University in New York, Antonio Bahamonde, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Centre of the University of Oviedo and Gonzalo Solís, President of the Research Ethics Committee of the Principality of Asturias and member of INEUROPA.

Antonio Bahamonde is Professor of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Oviedo. He holds a degree and PhD in Mathematics from the University of Santiago de Compostela.

He has held the following management positions: Director of the Artificial Intelligence Centre of the Asturian university since 1986, President of the Spanish Association for Artificial Intelligence (AEPIA) from 2007 to 2013, Secretary of the Scientific Committee of the ECSC (European Centre Soft Computing) from 2010 to 2016, ANEP Coordinator of the Computer Science area from 2013 to 2016. From September 2016 to September 2020 he was the President of the Sociedad Científica Informática de España (SCIE).

His research focuses on Machine Learning. He has spent time at the US universities of Massachusetts (Amherst, MA) and Cornell (Ithaca, NY).

Gonzalo Solís Paediatrician-Neonatologist, Doctor of Medicine (1992) from the University of Oviedo. He worked at H Cabueñes (Gijón) for 19 years and, since 2010, he has been working at HUCA (Oviedo). He has been an Associate Professor of Paediatrics for 8 years. His research is mainly related to neonatology, and specifically to prematurity. He collaborates as a researcher with the Psychology Department of the University of Oviedo (neurodevelopment) within INEUROPA, and with the Institute of Asturian Dairy Products (IPLA) of the CSIC (intestinal microbiota). Finally, he is Associate Editor of Anales de Pediatría and, currently, President of the Research Ethics Committee of the Principality of Asturias.
