On Friday 3 July, from 7 pm, LABoral Centro de Arte is holding an open day to showcase the workspaces and production areas of the artists currently taking part in several of the centre’s various residency programmes.
The visit will offer the chance to discover first-hand the projects they have been developing over recent months and to talk to the artists about the processes of research, experimentation and production undertaken during their stay at LABoral.
- The CRA Residency (Call for Artistic Residencies) is aimed at artists from Asturias — or those living in Asturias — who are developing research and/or artistic production projects. During their residency, the selected artists are provided with a workspace, access to sound and digital fabrication laboratories, specialised training, materials, and technical and production support. All this takes place in an environment that fosters the exchange of knowledge, collaboration and the creation of synergies within the creative ecosystem of LABoral Centro de Arte. Natalia Grande, José María Rodríguez Gómez and Andrea de la Rubia, who are part of this programme, will take part in this event and present their projects in residence.
- The LABORatorium 2026 artist residency, organised in collaboration with iMAL, aims to promote artistic research projects that explore the links between work and the digital realm. Artists Santiago Colombo Migliorero & Yannis Gkouzoumas will be taking part in this residency programme and will present some of the outcomes and processes of their research during this session.
