This workshop begins with an introductory phase in which participants will be introduced to the world of recycling in a fun and engaging way, exploring different materials and discovering how creativity can transform everyday objects into new creations full of possibilities.
In the second part, they will create an animated film using the objects made during the workshop. Among the planned activities is the construction of an insect hotel using recycled materials. The process of creating this audiovisual project will serve to investigate and raise awareness of the life, habits and importance of insects in the ecosystem.
This workshop will be led by Cristina Busto, a multidisciplinary artist from Asturias who is renowned for combining analogue and digital art in her work.

LABoral Centre for Art and Industrial Creation is organising this workshop as part of the #GreenCampus Junior summer camp, and it will take place from 6 to 10 July at LABoral Centre for Art and Industrial Creation.
This camp is free of charge, aimed at children aged between 8 and 12, and its aim is to raise awareness of the importance of recycling, specifically the reuse of electronic waste as an essential practice within a model of responsible consumption.
