Creative Day 2026

29 January 2026

Creative Day is an annual event dedicated to the creative and cultural industries, offering a double programme that includes a lecture by Flavia Introzzi, cultural manager and curator, and a showcase of projects by residents from the latest LABoral IMPULSA call for proposals.

This residency programme is the result of collaboration between Gijón IMPULSA, one of the Gijón City Council’s main instruments for supporting the development and growth of the municipality’s business fabric, and LABoral Centro de Arte, a cultural entity specialising in producing, disseminating and promoting access to cultural forms born from the creative use of information and communication technologies.

Flavia Introzzi is an Argentine cultural manager and curator who has been living in Madrid since 2007. She is responsible for the hablarenarte project and has also launched the Planta Alta artist residency programme in Madrid.

Her practice and research focus on practices that seek to disrupt hegemonic modes of artistic and cultural production and reception, moving between the institutional field of art, alternative structures, and other social contexts.

Before joining hablarenarte, Flavia developed projects in collaboration with public institutions (Intermediae – Matadero Madrid, Fundación Carolina, Casa del Lector), private organisations (Factum Arte) and independent organisations (Off Limits).
