Valeriano López began his artistic activity as a stage director and set designer: La última cinta de Krapp by Samuel Beckett in 2000 and Severa vigilancia by Jean Genet in 2005. He studied at the International Film and Television School of San Antonio de Los Baños in Cuba (1994-1996). His interests focus on globalisation, identities and borders. As a graphic designer he has produced important social awareness campaigns. In Valeriano López’s work, formats from different fields intermingle to form discourses that question and often satirise aspects of our most immediate reality.
