Teresa Reuter graduated in architecture from the Technical University of Berlin in 1994. She co-founded metroGap e.V., an association for urban theory and practice, which she chaired until 2002. In 2003 she founded a studio for architecture, visualisation and graphics. Since 1997 she has been involved in numerous “art actions”, creative interventions in the public sphere on issues relating to the control and privatisation of public spaces.
