Plat0 is LABoral’s most versatile space. Its 366 square metres are equipped with a 5.60 metre truss structure, sound equipment, a projector, a 35 square metre green chroma screen, a light and internet screen and furniture to seat a maximum of 140 people. It also has natural lighting and the possibility of darkening through a system of curtains.
This room is used as a resource for artists or creators who wish to carry out tests of their projects, recordings or photographs, rehearsals, presentations, give workshops or other artistic activities, through LABoral’s residency programmes.
The versatility of the room allows for experimentation and rehearsal, as well as production and final presentation to the public, which allows for a social return on the activity.
In 2023, it will receive the European-funded Aid to Local Entities for the modernisation and sustainable management of infrastructures for the performing arts and music (MRR), which allows for the updating of audiovisual and technical equipment.
In addition, the Plat0 is part of the Performing Resources Centre of the Principality of Asturias which, together with other venues in Asturias, offers artists rehearsal spaces and technical facilities for the development of artistic projects of any kind.
