Peter Zorn, born 1967 in Traunstein, Germany, studied 1990 – 95 in the experimental film class of Prof. Birgit Hein at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brunswick. 1993 he co-founded the Werkleitz Association, the Centre for Media Art Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. In 1995 he initiated and since then manages the European Artists in Residence Exchange (EMARE) which has expanded and is hosted since 2018 by the European Media Art Platform (EMAP). He managed several EU funded projects and programs since 1997. Apart of this he has been co-director of the Werkleitz Biennale / Werkleitz Festival until 2021 and since 2011 he is co-director of Werkleitz Professional Media Master Class. He works as producer and media art curator / expert in the village Werkleitz, the city Halle (Saale) and travels to EMAP events in whole Europe and beyond.
