Pablo Valbuena develops artistic projects and research on space, time and perception. Born in Spain and currently based in the south of France.
Important elements of this exploration is the overlap of the real and the virtual, the generation of mental spaces by the observer, dissolving the boundaries between reality and perception, the links between space and time, the subjective experience working as an object and the use of light as a raw material.
These ideas are formulated in direct response to the perceptual qualities, spatial conditions and environmental influences of a particular space or place.
The resulting projects were presented in Europe, Asia and America in a wide range of contexts and specific installations, exhibitions in museums and galleries and interventions at the urban scale.
