Furacus investigates—through participatory methodologies, while colluding, testing and deriving—possible counterproductive, intersectional and sustainable proposals over time, which respond to the double problem of access to housing and depopulation of rural centers near the mining basins.

During the residency, the project aims to function as a viewer in construction of these potential deviant and self-managed life models, which help to materialize and proliferate, from the recovery of the heterogeneity of knowledge and practices of traditional, other and common learning-participation. more forms of roots in the territory. Furacus aims to transform socioeconomic structures in crisis and the hegemonic power roles—gender, racial, ableist, cuerdista, ageist—associated with them and articulated among them.

The proposal addresses both local experiences, projects that go beyond, as well as theoretical and critical contributions, promoting possible networks of mutual support and direct social action on the territory through artistic-cultural resistance and the demand for a livable life.
