Martin Pichlmair is a media artist based and working in Vienna, Austria. Since gaining his PhD in Computer Science, he has worked as a teaching assistant at the Institute for Design and Technology Evaluation at the Vienna University of Technology. His art pieces have been exhibited at various media art exhibitions and festivals, such as Ars Electronica, ISEA, Transmediale and Microwave International Festival for New Media Art. Fares Kayali is a Viennese artist and researcher who focuses on the study of video games and interactivity with music. He has participated in several live performances in Austria and abroad, using his audio-visual synchronisation software Sonic~Image. Other projects include interactive media installations and video works. His scientific work as a project assistant and doctoral student at the Institute for Design and Technology Evaluation at the Vienna University of Technology focuses on gestural and playful musical interaction in the field of video games.
