Curator of the exhibition ‘Video Universe. Kinetic Stories’.

Lori Zippay is Executive Director of Electronic Arts Intermix (EAI). She has been active in the fields of media art exhibition, distribution, education and conservation for over twenty-five years. She has curated numerous programmes and exhibitions devoted to video in international venues and has lectured, taught and written extensively on art and new media. In addition, she has developed EAI’s large collection of over 3,500 works by emerging and established artists and initiated its pioneering programme of extensive digital resources. She is editor and co-author of the EAI Online Catalogue (1997-2011), a comprehensive digital publication on EAI’s media art holdings, and A Kinetic History: The EAI Archives Online, a digital resource on the emerging video art movement of the 1960s and 1970s, as well as other publications and resources.
