Project in residence

Diálogo Social

In a scenario in which heavy industry as a city model gives way to culture as capital, this project gathers different voices involved in the social dialogue in Europe. The artists, during their production residency, will make a composition from excerpts of interviews conducted by Mona Aranea -during her doctoral research- to different agents of the metal industry in Spain, Belgium and Germany.

The result will be formalized in a sound installation as a form of data visualization, a polyphony of the world of industry that manifests the difficulties of finding a single voice and a consensus. The aim is to offer an artistic view of the world of industry and to open up new channels for the dissemination of academic research as processes of knowledge transfer.

The exhibition will be complemented by a panel discussion to be held on March 3 at 6 pm.
