Grasso was awarded the Marcel Duchamp Prize in 2008 and is the subject of major monographs as Uraniborg (2012), Future Archæology (2012) and Laurent Grasso: The Balck Body Radiation published by Les Presses du Réel. Three other solo catalogues based on his work have also been published and he has created several installations in the public space. Grasso is represented by Galerie Valentin in Paris, Sean Kelly Gallery in New York, Alfonso Artiaco in Napoli, Edouard Malingue Gallery in Hong Kong and Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin in Paris.

Laurent Grasso’s work has been exhibited extensively worldwide, particularly in Europe and the United States, notably in solo exhibitions at the MACM, Montréal, Canada in 2013, the Jeu de Paume, Paris, France (2012), the Bass Museum of Art, Miami Beach, FL, USA (2011) the Hirshhorn Museum and the Sculpture Garden, Washington D.C., USA (2011), the Kunstverein Arnsberg, Arnsberg, Germany, (2009), the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, France (2009), the Palais de Tokyo , Paris, France (2009) and the Saint Louis Art Museum, Saint Louis, MO, USA (2010). Grasso’s work has also been included in many international biennales including Gwangju 9th, South Korea (2012), Manifesta 8, Cartagena / Murcia, Spain (2010), Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (2009), Moscow, Russia (2009) and Busan, South Korea (2004 and 2006).
