Using a wide variety of media such as archival material, found objects, video, spoken word, readings, meta-installations, typography, infographics or recycled neon, it investigates the displacements of meaning with respect to the artistic object and examines its cognitive value as a specific knowledge production system. Karlos Gil has exhibited his work in national centers such as CA2M, Laboral, CCCB, La Capella, Matadero, La Casa Encendida, and international centers such as the George Pompidou Center, Museum of Contemporary Art in Moscow or Salon Flux in London.
