Born in Schenefeld, Germany, in 1965.
John Bock has participated in a large number of international exhibitions, including the Venice Biennale and documenta 11 in Kassel, as well as solo shows at international institutions such as MoMA and the New Museum in New York, Kunst-Werke Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin, Kunsthalle Basel, Secession in Vienna and the ICA in London.
