Multimedia artist, guitarist and composer of electronic and acoustic sound. An internationally active member of micromusic through his audiovisual project noteNdo, his solo work and collaborations in Odea Duo Vii, HD and Wzt Hearts, Donaldson’s work spans a broad spectrum of audiovisual composition and improvisation.
In 2001, in an attempt to create animation based solely on his own hardware modifications, he began preparing NES consoles. He makes his work without the intervention of new code, but only through a primary machinic logic, a work that has made him internationally renowned in the field of new media art and has led him on a continuous search for the unexplored potential of reusing consumer electronics to create a new and refreshing production.
