Institute of Contemporary Art

The Instituto de Arte Contemporáneo (IAC) is an association of professionals dedicated to contemporary art, independent of any authority and with objectives that, beyond the interests of particular guilds, should benefit the artistic community as a whole. The IAC develops ideas with the aim of favouring the improvement and development of our institutional network for art, ensuring the progressive implementation of good practices and promoting a new social perception of contemporary Spanish art. We are helping to generate a climate of dialogue and analysis through the activity of the working groups on education, museums, heritage, international projection, rights, and professional relations between artists and gallery owners and institutions. These groups seek to integrate representatives from all sectors and are open to all members of the IAC.
