Minerva Álvarez is a native of El Entrego, and belongs to the group of contemporary artists of the Nuevo Circo, which uses unconventional spaces such as theatres, streets and halls to develop circus arts. The artist expresses herself through dance, aerial acrobatics, juggling and improvisation. She has received numerous courses in Europe and Latin America, although she defines herself as a self-taught performer who learns something new with every performance.

La Bruja Maga
Minerva Álvarez (Hipnótica Circo Teatro) will create, during her residence, The Magician Witch (La Bruja Maga), a theater play with a comedic tone in which she combines her acting skills with audiovisual techniques such as video mapping, Chroma keying and blacklights, altogether with the live music by Pedro Acevedo.
The story tells the challenge of the strange magician witch which receives a very special mission that will put her self-confidence and her spirit of overcoming, to the test.
