Gregorio Méndez Sáez (Burgos, 1960) began his artistic activity with painting at the end of the 70s, a format that he would complement with engraving, drawing, performance, happenings or installation, with which he would carry out exhibitions and actions until the beginning of the first 2000s. This is when he began his video work, on which he currently bases his creation. He has shown his work in rooms and spaces in, among other cities, Burgos, Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Valencia, Lisbon and Stuttgart. He was a founding member of the contemporary creation and management group “El Afilador”, with which he participated in the establishment of networks of situationist groups in the 90s. He has also carried out scenographic projects for professional and amateur theaters, as well as works for the world of illustration and posters.
