Genoveva Galarza Heredero is a cartoonist and author of Micórrizas. Born and raised travelling around Spain, she studied Computer Engineering in Madrid and started her career in the field of computational linguistics. She currently works at the Wikimedia Foundation, writing free code in pursuit of free knowledge, focused on creating decolonising linguistic tools that close the knowledge gap for underrepresented languages on the Internet. She is based in Gijón, where she writes, draws and learns about mushrooms.
