Ge Jin investigates Real Money Trading in MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games). He has made documentaries on social issues, as well as video webs. His productions include Your Wrds R Welcome, 2002; Shanghai Gardens, 2003; A House of Belonging (www.thehouseofturkey.org), 2005; and Gold Farmers (www. chinesegoldfarmers.com), a feature-length documentary about MMORPG traders dealing with real money.

Ge Jin holds a Master’s degree in Public Communication from Fordham University in New York, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Shanghai International Studies University. He is currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Communication at the University of California (San Diego).
