Fran Avilés’s musical proposal deals with his own repertoire, between folk-rock and popular song.

After a long professional stay in Morocco developing architecture projects, he takes up the guitar again and in 2012 publishes the demo PROYECTO SOL, under which he performs in events such as “Fiesta de la Cultura – Los Maizales”, “Fête de La Musique”, “Rock Oviedo”, “Acoger ye natural”, “Gijón Sound Festival”, and in venues such as “Centro de Cultura Antiguo Gijón” and “Gijón Sound Festival”, “Acoger ye natural”, “Gijón Sound Festival”, and in venues such as Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto Gijón, Teatro Riera de Cangas de Narcea, FNAC, Sala Acapulco, Museo Juan Barjola, Plaza Mayor de Gijón, Biblioteca Iván de Vargas de Madrid, among others.

In 2015 he released the EP DOS and won first prize in the Gijón COMA demo contest. In 2016 the Taller de Músicos de Xixón publishes a CD with songs from PROYECTO SOL. The proposal to self-release a new album is selected by VERKAMI in a public competition for creative ideas, and the LP “CANCIONES DE AMOR Y SOMBRA” is published in 2017. Recorded in Xixón and mastered in Cádiz, the album features outstanding collaborations and is released in vinyl + CD format.

He is currently working on a new repertoire.
