Fasenuova

1 January 2016 – 01 June 2016

Roberto Lobo and Ernesto Avelino have been shaking and transgressing the limits of the roughest and most experimental electronic music for 20 years. Hypnotic and asphyxiating sounds that are born from the deepest of the Asturian mining basin, where the wild nature confronts the industrial legacy.

We could talk about Throbbing Gristle, Suicide, Esplendor Geométrico or Cabaret Voltaire, but the truth is that Fasenuova has managed to carve a totally own and magnetic identity, an exciting and absolutely essential imaginary where the occult folk and industrial music shake hands in an extreme amalgam, which invites us to dance and let ourselves be carried away by obsessive rhythms and electric discharges that will lead us to a true and unique physical and sonorous experience.

Currently they have just completed a long European tour in which they have taken their show to Belgium, Holland, France, Germany and Switzerland. With this tour they bring to an end the journey of their latest album, Aullidos Metálicos, Humo 2016, with which they have performed throughout Europe and participated in the most important festivals in the state. During this period they have also produced four soundtracks for four films by the Russian-American surrealist director Maya Deren, staged in several film festivals. At this moment they are beginning work on their next feature film and on projects in which they plan to develop and expand their aesthetic visions.
