Espada and Monleón are two artists and gastronomes who have been collaborating on edible projects for a little over two years now.

Our beginnings were modest, organising events for our friends and family in which the search for a new way of socialising and enjoying food was paramount.

Since then, and always looking for new formats and people to collaborate with, we have participated in projects and public programmes of various institutions. These include the Picnic Sessions at CA2M, El comisariado 2.0 at Sala de Arte Joven de la CAM and the Campo Adentro programme at MNCARS.

As artists we adhere to the Surrealist project of searching for the sensuality and total edibility of the world.

As gastronomes we face the insatiability of our appetites.

This year we have realised our most ambitious project: an Edible Opera that premiered in Madrid on June 30th at CA2M.
