Emptyset

Musicians

Emptyset is a Bristol-based duo continually exploring the elemental properties of sound and rhythmic structures. Emptyset’s work questions and investigates the boundary between noise and music, and the potential of architecture and technology and their influence on sound. His latest work “Collapsed” (Raster-Noton, 2012), is a stimulating work that analyses the threshold where sound structures are destabilised. Emptyset will visit L.E.V. 2013 accompanied by part of their recording studio and visual artist Joanie Lemercier, member of the AntiVJ collective, to offer us an impressive AV experience around the physical properties of sound.
