Derivart is an interdisciplinary art collective founded in Barcelona in 2004. It is currently made up of: Jesús Rodríguez, visual artist, organiser of the 2004 Fine Arts Festival, promoter of experimental art with mass consumption materials; Mar Canet, interactive designer and programmer, now studying video game design at the University of Central Lancashire (England); creator of NodeMail.org http://www.nodemail.org/. Daniel Beunza, sociologist and professor of management at Columbia Business School (New York). He has contributed to the sociology of financial markets with a field study of a Wall Street investment bank; creator of Listening to the Spreadplot.
