Denica Veselinova

Plastic artist

Denica Veselinova (1983 Bulgaria). Lives and works in Madrid.

She began her art studies at the age of 12 in Bulgaria, continuing her education at the Ilia Petrov National School of Fine Arts (Bulgaria), specialising in painting. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid. She has completed a Master’s degree in Art, Creation and Research at the same university. She has participated in numerous exhibitions in Spain, Italy, England, Taiwan, Bulgaria, Macedonia and Greece. She has been awarded in the XXVII Edition of Circuitos de las Artes Plásticas de la Comunidad de Madrid. Her work has also been exhibited in several video art festivals: MADATAC, Spain; Miden of Kalamata, Greece; DAFT of Digital Art Center, Taiwan and Espacio Enter, Canary Islands, Spain. In 2010 he won the MADATAC Most Promising Video Art Artist Award. His solo exhibitions include: Ensoñaciones, Alcalá de Henares; Trazando nudos, Báculo gallery, Madrid; Criptogramas: una ensoñación líquida, exhibition hall of the Centro Hispano-Bulgaro, Madrid; Schegge di vita, Centro de Grabado Contemporáneo del Ayuntamiento de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and Alma Mater Gallery of the University of Sofia San Clemente de Ohrid, Bulgaria.
