Daniel Herrera Arenas

PhD of Geography

PhD in Geography from the University of Oviedo. Degree in Geography and History, specialising in Geography and History. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the CuCC of the University of Oviedo. He has developed his professional activity in both the public and private sectors in various fields. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Geography at the University of Oviedo, teaching on the degrees of Geography and Territorial Planning and Tourism. He has several publications mainly related to territorial and strategic planning, as well as Virtual and Augmented Reality as tools for the explanation and dissemination of landscape and heritage. He has participated in more than 30 research projects. He is a member of the Territorial Observatory of the University of Oviedo and of the Research Group Analysis and Interpretation of Spanish Landscapes (ARPE).
