Project in residence

d/evolution a/v live

LCC (Las CasiCasiotone) y Adrián Cuervo trabajarán durante su residencia en LABoral en el desarrollo de un espectáculo audiovisual para la presentación en directo de d/evolutionadriancuervo.es

d/evolutionis the new album by LCC, published on the prestigious Austrian label Editions Mego, an international reference for electronic and experimental music. In their work, LCC invites us to reflect on the paradigm of evolution and the forward-reverse paradox contained in man’s current relationship with the earth. Starting from an audiovisual aesthetic, it proposes an approach to the contemporary growth model, strongly marked by an irrational technophilic developmentalism. This state of technological chaos has altered the balance in nature, breaking down what had previously been a symbiotic relationship, turning it into a parasitic relationship.

d/evolution a/v livegives shape to these approaches in a live audiovisual show, with compositions of images and sounds captured from the environment and processed digitally, or generated through synthesis. This flow between what is recorded and what is generated, between what is perceived through the senses and what is artificially created, establishes the aesthetic atmosphere of the show that evokes both natural and urban environments.

The references to nature, with the use of textures and details, both visual and sound, are harmoniously structured with digital resources to form a coherent and resounding live performance.

Furthermore, during his residence LCC and Adrian Cuervo They will manufacture complementary aesthetic elements, such as laptop cases.
