Performer and multidisciplinary artist; his projects are related to the radicality of the bodily experience through performance and installation with social themes, especially on the conditions of marginality and exploitation of human beings.
Thus his work follows an impulse of social response somewhat transgressive and provocative based on the evidence and the events of everyday life. By using signs linked to social memory and the collective subconscious, from the ancestral of rural culture to high technology, he activates from this visual provocation certain devices that force the spectator to reflect. A provocation that also serves the author to exorcise his deepest concerns: life and death, religion, sex and pain.
Cuco Suárez’s work has had and still has a presence in the universal parameters of contemporary art today.
As a performer, he has been present in festivals of this artistic discipline all over the world: Mexico, Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, England, Portugal, USA, Spain, Italy, Poland, France, etc…
