Born in Asturias. He lives and works between London and Asturias.
Covadonga Valdés Sobrecueva has a degree in Fine Arts from Chelsea College of Art in 1992 and a Master’s degree from Slade University, London in 1994. In 2012 she received the Abbey Fellowship in Painting from the British School in Rome.
He participated in artistic residencies as well as: The Ricklungarden Museum in Sweden, Azan Contemporary in Lisbon, Hickster Projects in Siena and the British School in Rome, Italy.
