She studying architecture at Paris-Villemin and the University of Houston, Joskowikz completed a Master of Arts at New York University (2000). Solo exhibitions include: Thierry Goldberg Projects, New York (2010); Museo Nacional de Arte, La Paz, Bolivia (2009); Galería Kiosko, Santa Cruz, Bolivia (2009); The Soap Factory (Video Projects Room), Minneapolis (2002); and Lawndale Art Center, Fotofest, Houston (2002). She has taken part, among others, in the following group exhibitions: 29th São Paulo Biennial (2010); BITT Festival, Experimental Arts Festival, Seoul (2010); 10th Havana Biennial, Havana (2009); Sara Meltzer Gallery, New York (2008); and Exit Art, New York (2006). In 2009 she received the East Harlem Arts Grant from the Association of Hispanic Arts, and in 2008 the Urban Artists Initiative Grant, both in New York. In 2005 she won first prize at the Modified Digital Photography Competition, Fundación Simón I Patiño, Cochabamba, Bolivia. Joskowicz is a lecturer at the Steinhardt Department of Art, New York University.
