Graduated in Philosophy at the University of Valencia in 2007, Master of neuroscience expert at the University of Salamanca in 2009, she is currently writing her doctoral thesis on artificial creativity in the official Postgraduate in logic and philosophy of science, which is why in 2010 she made a stay at Imperial College London, in the ComputationalCreativityGroup.

His lines of research cover several disciplines such as philosophy, art, technology or cognitive sciences, focusing especially on the study of video games from a philosophical, pedagogical and gender perspective, both at the theoretical level (with the generation of papers, articles and chapters for books), as practice (as with the participation in the Gamestar(t) or the design of video games that experiment with the interface as Audiogames).
He has organized and participated as a speaker in several conferences and seminars related to philosophy, synaesthesia, art and videogames.

Project in residence

Arsgames

Sound, space, immersion and interaction: HMD and Kinect for the development of virtual and augmented environments by ARSGAMES is the winning project of the call for the production of an educational tool 2015.

ARSGAMES develops a tool with an educational approach in which the different levels of reality are explored through the interaction of students with physical space, augmented reality and virtual worlds. They will also reflect and investigate the capacity and potential for intervention and interactivity generated by these technologies and spaces.

The project consists of the creation of a virtual environment, consisting of several levels of immersion-interaction. It will be developed with Unity 3D and Minecraft in the virtual part, and with Steam VR with HMD and Kinect, as interaction intermediation devices.

The virtual space incorporates a structure based on object-oriented programming, so that any interactive educational content can be incorporated into the project. Thus, a didactic unit designed by teachers acquires a new dimension, since through the exploration of virtual objects and the physical and virtual environment, students can intervene in the space and explore the contents.

The users place themselves in the space and through movements with almost the entire body interface they exert an influence on the manipulable objects in the virtual environment, which offers the feedback of a combined experience between the visual, auditory (synaesthetic), haptic and proprioceptive-ergonomic dimensions, giving room for the mediation of a wide range of branches traditionally categorized in the arts, which will be the strategic mediators of the intervention process in the space.

This LABoral call seeks the production of an educational tool that facilitates the approach of teachers and students to contemporary artistic practice as a resource to work on the school curriculum and is part of the Mecenazgo Expandido program, a collaboration model that involves a group of private collectors.

Throughout the residency, ARSGAMES works with several schools and local collectives.

The Expanded Patronage Group led by Alicia Ventura and including: ACB Collection, Julián Castilla, Tanalot 98 and Mariano Yera finances this grant.
