Born in Avilés, 1998

Alba Matilla began her studies in Fine Arts in 2016 at the University of Vigo and, after specialising in painting during a course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, she finished her degree in 2020 and began working in the field of cultural management with the French organisation Dos Mares. After a year in Marseille, he moved to Bilbao to study the Master in Research and Creation in Art at the University of the Basque Country, where he became interested in experimenting with 3D modelling software, and collaborated in the 2022 edition of the Bideodromo and Festival MEM festivals, assisting international artists such as Aideen Barry. He currently lives in Asturias and continues to develop his work and training in the field of 3D design. His participation in exhibitions and festivals include the 2022 edition of Intersección, “Changing Places” at the UAL (London, 2023), “Erribera: Images, Community and Partnerships in Practice” at the Bizkaia Aretoa (Bilbao, 2022) or “Do final e do comezo” at the Pazo de la Cultura (Pontevedra, 2021).
