Currently studying an international doctoral program co-directed by the Pavol Jozef Šafárika universities in Košice and the Autonomous University of Madrid, developed at the Institute of Structure of Matter (IEM) belonging to the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC). Thesis title: “Spectroscopic characterizations of Ferrogallic Inks and related pigments with interest in Cultural Heritage.”

His interest and concern lead him to investigate new materials and methods of digital manufacturing and their application in uses as varied as the fins of surfboards.

Project in residence

Sin Fin

The aim of the Sin Fin project is to create longboards fins based on biomaterials. The prototypes created in the fabLAB will be documented and distributed to different beaches in Asturias. These fins will be accompanied by a QR code that will link to a web site that will allow surfers to give their opinions on these bio-blades. In this way, the material leaves the mountain, will be transformed into the fabLAB and will finally be enjoyed in the sea.

Project selected in the I Call for Artistic Residencies 2023.
