Mar Martín & Rocío Pinín

Rocío studied Plastic Arts and Design at the Oviedo Art School. She has participated in various collective and individual exhibition projects. Her work is mainly graphic and photography is usually present in her work. In the audiovisual and communication field he participated in the RTPA programme Nomes d’Asturies and in Tele Oviedo. For many reasons his life has long been linked to the literary world. And always with art, thinking, making and disseminating, as she did during her time at LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial.

Mar studied Spanish and Asturian Philology at the University of Oviedo. She collaborated with the Academia de la Llingua Asturiana as a researcher and writer.

She published La llegada, an illustrated album in Asturian with the Pintar Pintar publishing house, and two collections of poems: Engranaje and Atalaya with the publishing house Torremozas. She was a scriptwriter for the radio theatre programme Nomes d’Asturies, a teacher of Asturian language for adults, a guide at the Muséu del Pueblu d’Asturies and is currently a guide for the Reading Club at the Pumarín Gijón Sur Library and co-author of the podcast on literature ‘En los márgenes’ (ivoox).

Cüatrogüeyos combines words and images in designs with messages that transmit: visibility, support for women in the workplace, support for women who suffer abuse, promotion of reading, respect for minority languages and interest in poetry.
