The sea as a uniform space where all reference is denied. Disorientation reigns. On the horizon, the sky is confused with the volume of the earth.

The maps, with their different coloured lines and shapes, are also dotted with names and numbers, which measure, regulate and denominate space. In this way, power counteracts man’s eagerness to navigate into the unknown. Cartography orders the landscape. What is the relationship between the map and reality? What triggers what? In nature, the references one takes when walking, like the direction of the wind, vary from moment to moment. Thus it becomes clear who the stranger is.
