[FLASH] LABaural is the hidden (or not) sound of LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial [FLASH] 43 sound shots that are presented to the listener as they were taken, without artifice or modification: raw sounds and noises that seek, using formal premises of superimposing sound layers and cuts, to listen to what the art centre sounds like, forgetting the physical and focusing all attention solely on sound [FLASH] [FLASH] [FLASH] corridors [FLASH] empty exhibition rooms [FLASH] experimental workshops [FLASH] lifts [FLASH] turbines [FLASH] fans [FLASH] dark spaces [FLASH] transparent plastic curtains [FLASH] chest of drawers [FLASH] empty exhibition rooms [FLASH] experimental workshops [FLASH] lifts [FLASH] turbines [FLASH] fans [FLASH] fans [FLASH] dark spaces [FLASH] dark spaces [FLASH] plastic curtains transparent [FLASH] chest freezers [FLASH] pipes [FLASH] ambient sound [FLASH] cables [FLASH] machines [FLASH] omnipresent qlux puba [FLASH] [FLASH] [FLASH] communication racks [FLASH] the environments change abruptly [FLASH] to take us in milliseconds to new sensations, sensing in a space/time of 15 minutes what sounds live in the building [FLASH] what different sensations a contemporary art centre has in store for us [FLASH] and how important noise is [FLASH] what nonsense to say that museums are silent spaces [FLASH] omnipresent data. tecture [5 SXGA+ version] [FLASH] [FLASH] everything is creating the imaginary but real soundscape of LABoral [FLASH] and… [FLASH]
