LABoral will host the children design workshops Kids & Crafts during the springtime Design Market

LABoral has organised Kids & Crafts, three children design workshops in the framework of LABshop Springtime Flea market 2015, for May 9 and 10. Addressed to children between 4 and 10, the participants in this educational project to play with art, will discover, using ingenious techniques, the style of the most relevant artists in the history of art.
In this first edition they will paint in red, yellow, blue and black like Mondrian, they will cut out stencils like Banksy and will create pop art compositions like Peter Blake.

Saturday May 9, from 12.30 p.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday, May 10 from 4 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Peter Blake workshop with collage and drawing
Saturday May 9, from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 10, from 12.30 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Mondrian workshop with paint
Saturday May 9, from 4 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. and Sunday, May 10, from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The workshops will be conducted by Ana Nuño, graphic designer, graduate at Elisava, Escuela Superior de Diseño de Barcelona, in 2005. Ana Nuño has worked in firms such as Avanti-Avanti Studio and Jorge Lorenzo Diseño y Comunicación. In the cultural field, she has designed publications of the Regional Ministry for Education, Culture and Sport of the Principality of Asturias, for Fundación Mª Cristina Masaveu Peterson, or for MACBA-Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Barcelona, CCCB-Centro de Cultura Contemporánea de Barcelona, as well as LABoral Centro de Arte, among others. In 2013 she graduated in photography at the Art School of Oviedo. She currently lives and works in Gijon, where she combines her activity as freelance designer with creative workshops for kids.
