Tomorrow Thursday, 26 of March, the Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto will host, from half past six in the afternoon, the second session of the cycle of projections Oberhausen on Tour, the Short Film Festival that takes place yearly in that German community and that has included Gijon on its world tour this year.

Oberhausen has been part catalyser during more than 50 years and, at the same time, showcase of the contemporary short films developments, as well as a discussion forum open to new tendencies and talents. From Roman Polanski to Cate Shortland, from George Lucas to Pipilotti Rist, in a period of time of more than five decades, it has become in one of the most respected cinematographic events and it which important figures have presented their films.

LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial has incorporated to the world tour sponsored by Oberhausen Festival that this year for ninth time, presents their programmes in 54 headquarters in 24 countries. In collaboration with Goethe-Institute Madrid and Festival Internacional de Cine de Gijón, Centro de Arte has brought to Gijón two of the programmes form the last edition, the ones included in the Internaional Competition and German Competition sections.  The session dedicated to the German cinema will take place the Thursday March the 26th, in Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto.
