Over 13.000 visitors since opening
Highest influx registered at weekend following the opening and Easter holidays
13,096 people have visited LABoral Centre for Art and Creative Industries since it opened on last Friday 30th March. The figures show that the three exhibitions included in the Centre?s opening programme (Feedback, Gameworld and LABcyberspaces) have been seen by a daily average of 1,455 visitors during the nine days since they opened, bearing in mind that the Centre remains closed on Tuesdays.
The highest numbers were seen on the first weekend after the opening of the Centre and during the Easter holidays. The opening party on Friday 30th March was attended by 2,500 visitors. Saturday 31st and Sunday 1st April, two open-door days, with free admission to the Centre, saw 3,600 people. In full operation, the highest number of visitors was registered on Good Friday, with 2,062 visitors, followed by Easter Saturday (1,489 visitors) and Easter Thursday (1,126 visitors).
