The Regional Minister for Education, Culture and Sport of the Principality of Asturias, Ana González, is from today the new president of the Board of Patrons of the Fundación La Laboral. Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial [La Laboral Centre of Art and Industrial Creation Foundation]. Also appointed to the Centre’s governing body are the Deputy Regional Minister of Culture, Alejandro Calvo, the Director General of Cultural Heritage, Adolfo Rodríguez Asensio, representing the Principality of Asturias, and the President of the Autoridad Portuaria de Gijón [The Port Authority of Gijón], Rosa Aza, in representation of this institution.
The LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial Foundation is a cultural body to serve the general interest, as well as the governing body of the art centre. The aims of the Foundation as described in Article 6.1 of the statutes are “to promote and disseminate art and industrial creation through the management of LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial.”
