Notodo.com, the leading contemporary culture web page, recommends the best of the latest in books, movies, music, exhibitions and cultural events. Following strict criteria of the highest quality, innovation and risk-taking, Notodo.com has selected the best of the past year, without forgetting new talent, which is often overlooked in the cultural spectrum. Their mission is to guide the public to the most interesting developments within the ever-expanding – and often disorienting – cultural panorama.
These criteria – quality, innovation and risk-taking – will be considered most important when selcting the winners of the Notodo awards.
To choose the best of last year, Notodo.com has invited a special panel of jury members, to be comprised of art, movie, theatre and literature professionals. Furthermore, beyond including specialists in each field, each jury will also have an “infiltrator,” an expert whose profession is not necessarily linked to the category in which he or she is voting but who, of course, is thoroughly knowledgeable about the subject matter. Such is the case with, for example, Rafael Doctor, who will be part of the jury selecting the Best Album, or Alaska, who will vote on the Best Exhibition.
